Necklaces

Please be sure to remove your necklace when changing clothes. If pulled or caught, the chain may break. Necklaces can also discolor, so avoid wearing them when applying perfume or sunscreen.

Necklaces often feature delicate chains, and while their shape and structure vary, they are typically made by twisting or weaving fine metal wires together—making them elegant but delicate.

Common chain types include cable chains, ball chains, and Venetian chains. Ball chains are especially vulnerable to tension or twisting due to their structure, and all chain types are prone to wear from sweat and dirt.

How to Adjust Slide Ball Chains

When adjusting the length of a slide ball chain, always hold the ball gently with your fingers and pull the chain straight and slowly.

Pulling the chain without holding the ball, or adjusting it while wearing the necklace, may cause the chain to break—especially if the ball is tilted or the chain is pulled at an angle.
Please be sure to make adjustments only when the necklace is not being worn.
